Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)

Our Parents & Citizens Association is an active and valued part of the Tarrawanna Public School community. The P&C works in partnership with the school to support student learning, enhance resources, and strengthen community connections through fundraising and events.

Who Can Join?

All parents, carers, grandparents and family members are warmly invited to be part of our P&C. Your voice, ideas and involvement help shape the experiences we create for our students.

Meeting Times

P&C meetings are held in the school library on:
Tuesdays of Weeks 3 and 8 each term at 1:30pm

Families can attend in person or join via video conference if unable to be onsite.

What the P&C Does

• Supports school initiatives and improvements
• Organises community events and fundraisers
• Strengthens partnerships between families and the school
• Contributes to projects that enhance student learning and wellbeing

Stay Connected

Scan the QR code on school noticeboard to join our Family & Friends Facebook Group, where updates, events and opportunities to get involved are regularly shared. Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
